Bruce Greenwood

Born in Quebec, Bruce graduated from high school in Vancouver, but spent his grade 12 year in Switzerland. Most often recognized as "the bad husband" in Double Jeopardy, Bruce also starred as John F. Kennedy in the film Thirteen Days. He has appeared in numerous pictures, among them Ararat, Below, Exotica, The Sweet Hereafter, The Core, Rules of Engagement, Father's Day, Passenger 57, Hollywood Homicide and I Robot. Recently released are the pictures Being Julia (Golden Globe winner) with Annette Bening and Racing Stripes. He won a 1995 Gemini award in Canada for his television performance in Road to Avonlea, received a Gemini nomination for The Little Kidnappers and a Genie nomination for his work in Atom Egoyan's Exotica. Bruce's breakthrough role was as a regular star on the popular St. Elsewhere series, playing Dr. Seth Griffin during the 1986-88 seasons. He has appeared in dozens of Movies of the Week and numerous television series and can be heard on many books on tape. Although most noted for his acting, Bruce is also a prolific singer/songwriter.
