Bruce Greenwood at the Courtnall Golf Classic Courtnall Golf Classic Bruce Greenwood flew up to Vancouver to participate in the second Courtnall Celebrity Classic Golf Tournament in Victoria, BC, held over the third weekend of July in 2004, the same weekend his blockbuster film I Robot was opening throughout No. America. Organized by Canadian sports stars Geoff and Russ Courtnall along with their brother Bruce, the tournament included over 35 celebrities and sports personalities this year - with a larger contingency of sports stars and the glittery appearance of Pamela Anderson - who gathered together to raise money for a new psychiatric emergency unit for the Royal Jubilee Hospital. Once again, Bruce not only played in the tournament, he also held a jam session with buddy Don Felder of The Eagles at the gala dinner party on Friday night. Coverage of the event follows:

Other memorable moments included the Victoria Children's Choir singing the ballad Can You Hear Me?, and actor Bruce Greenwood performing Hotel California and Take It Easy with Eagles guitarist Don Felder.

Greenwood said he'd rather be partying with the Courtnalls than seeing his new movie, I, Robot, on its opening day.

"I can't stand seeing movies I'm in because I'm too critical of myself," quipped the Los Angeles-based actor.
