Instead of the usual premiere, 20th Century Fox hosted a special "Adopt-a-Fire-House" community event at station 58 of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
In attendance were Alyson, Josh and Kaylie Hutcherson, Mayte Garcia, Bruce Greenwood, Director Todd Holland and of course Rex, the canine star of the movie.
4th grade classes from two local elementary schools attended the event and had the chance to meet the film's stars as well as tour the station. 20th Century Fox also made a donation to the LAFD to assist with the purchase of a new search and rescue dog.
