The Canadian equivalent to the American Emmy, The Gemini Awards is held annually in Toronto to honor the best of Canadian television. Bruce happened to be in Toronto in March of 1993 filming Woman on the Run: the Lawrencia Bembenek Story opposite Tatum O'Neal. A picture of the two co-stars chatting after the ceremonies appeared in an AP photo the following day.
