TORONTO, June 13 /CNW/ - Canadian singing sensation Jann Arden. NHL stars Trevor Linden (Montreal Canadiens), Kirk Muller (Dallas Stars) and Jerome Iginla (Calgary Flames). Figure skating superstar Scott Hamilton. These are just a few of the celebrities who will be competing in the eighth annual Export `A' Skins Game Celebrity-Am on Sunday, August 6, 2000 at Predator Ridge Golf Resort in British Columbia's Okanagan Valley. This year's Export `A' Skins Game, presented by Ericsson, will feature two Celebrity-Ams. Shotgun starts are at 7:00 a.m. for the morning Celebrity-Am and 1:00 p.m. for the afternoon Celebrity-Am. The four Export `A' Skins Game golfers Phil Mickelson, Fred Couples, Mike Weir, Sergio Garcia do not compete in the Sunday Celebrity-Am events. Other celebrities who have agreed to participate to date include National Hockey League personalities Rob Brown (Pittsburgh Penguins), Brent Gilchrist (Detroit Red Wings), Ken Holland (General Manager, Detroit Red Wings), Kelly Hrudey (former goaltender, Los Angeles Kings), Robyn Regehr (Calgary Flames), Gary Valk (Toronto Maple Leafs), and Ray Whitney (Florida Panthers); actors Nicholas Lea (X-Files) and Bruce Greenwood (Rules of Engagement, Double Jeopardy); Olympic decathlete Michael Smith; country musician Gil Grand; Gerald Eaton of the Philosopher Kings; and CBC Sports television commentators Ron MacLean, Jim Nelford and Steve Armitage. Tickets for the Celebrity-Am are still available. They are $20 each, plus applicable taxes and service charges.
