Q: What was the first role that you were really proud of that you did? BG: I, you know, it's very difficult for me to be like "really proud" because all I see are the warts, you know, I see the missed opportunities.

BG: I can look at the other actors work and I can go..."Now that's perfect, that's flawless." you know but I just...cause I can see, I can see me working behind all this stuff, you know. Other actors you can't because you don't know them, you don't see the artifice, you know you just -- you believe it all.

BG: The only reason you do it in the first place is because it's interesting and difficult and fun and I don't, I really don't do it so I can sit back at the end and go....eeewwww cool.

BG: I'm more of, kind of superstitious of it in a karmic sense, you know. That if I have the temerity to say, "Yeah, you know I really nailed it." You know that um the next thing I'm gonna stink in or I'll make some really bad choices.

BG: First of all, you're playing this movie actor who has this part. So you think well, how would this movie actor think about this part? How would he try and separate himself from this part. He would...it's a big chance for him because he's supposed to be an action star. So he wants to separate himself as much as he can from what defines him as an action star.

BG: and then you think to yourself..."Well, It's Ok really because if I'm... If I Bruce am bad in the second role that the actor plays people might think it's a choice I've made to be bad. So that's a little safety valve there, not a big one, probably pretty transparent but that's kind of there, right?

BG: At first, you kinda, it's you know, when you first meet it's hard to get past everything you know and everything you think you know and everything you've been kinda fed about somebody. So it's hard to kind of find a way in sometimes and people who are that massively famous often don't reveal themselves immediately so it's doubly difficult.

BG: I'm very fortunate right now. I'm really fortunate. I mean there's a lot of room to improve, you know. There's room for me to get better for sure but I feel as though I'm getting better at it.
