The Canadian entertainment interview show, Reel to Reel ran a short "bit" on the release of The Republic of Love in Canada, along with a brief interview with Bruce Greenwood. The program is also broadcast in the U.S. over Bravo. The transcript follows:

BG: I wanted to play in something where I could come to work and laugh, you know. Like usually I come to work happy and I have to kind of cheer down, you know. I've got to get serious and I got to go to work this time and not really be that serious, just be, just hang out and have fun and um, that just really appealed to me.
