Production Updates:
Bill Smitrovich has been added to the cast of the Beacon/New Line pic "Thirteen Days." Kevin Costner stars as President Kennedy's advisor in the film about the Cuban Missile Crisis. Kennedy is played by Bruce Greenwood. Smitrovich takes the role of chairman of the joint chiefs of staff. (Daily Variety 8/27/99)

"13 Days'' has added Dylan Baker ("Happiness'') to

Kevin Costner to film in Glendale:
Actor Kevin Costner will be in town Monday to shoot scenes for
a feature film on the Cuban Missile Crisis. He plays a presidential aide.
The movie, called "Thirteen Days," will be shot from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. at
Salem Lutheran Church, 1211 N. Brand Blvd. Filming will also be done at Pelanconi Park. No streets will be closed. The production is expected to bring 300 cast and crew members, 250 cars, seven trucks, five vans and 12 motor homes to Glendale. Three buses will also bring in extras.
