Entertainment Tonight interviewed Peter Lawford's son, Christopher Lawford, who's also, of course, John F Kennedy's nephew. Lawford has a minor but pivotal role in the movie as a combat flyer sent to Cuba with strict orders from JFK "not to get shot".
Lawford's comments were as follows: "This is not a political movie, it's a thriller and it's historically
accurate. I love the fact that it's a movie that portrays John and
Robert as American heroes."
"A couple of cousins saw it and loved the movie. My family's notorious
about reserving judgment till they actually have all the facts, so that
is probably the one aspect of this whole experience that gives me the
most nerves. I'm very proud to be in the film."
"I didn't have any scenes with any guys playing John or Bobby. I was in
the action scenes. But Bruce Greenwood and Steven Culp are both amazing." |
