LONDON - Premieres of Istvan Sabo's "Being Julia," Paddy Breathnach's "Man About Dog," Guy de Beaujeu's "(Past Present Future) Imperfect" and Peter Richardson's "Churchill, the Hollywood Years" have joined the lineup at the inaugural London U.K. Film Focus.
A total of 24 films will screen at the three-day event, which takes place June 30 to July 2 at the National Film Theater on London's South Bank. It is intended as a sales showcase for British movies, targeted at 180 invited foreign buyers.
Previously announced preems include Andrew Goth's "Cold and Dark," the Shane Meadows pic "Dead Man's Shoes," Charles Dance's "Ladies in Lavender" and Danny Boyle's "Millions."
Also screening will be Marek Kanievska's "A Different Loyalty," Richard Eyre's "Stage Beauty," Nick Love's "The Football Factory" and Richard Jobson's "The Purifiers."
