(1994 made-for-cable movie; originally aired 7/28/94 on USA)
A highly entertaining villainous role, Bruce Greenwood plays Jack Westford, an ex-policeman employed as a disgruntled bank guard who decides to frame his wife for his own murder so that he can run off with the bank's money along with the sex-pot he's been romancing. The discarded wife is played by Virginia Madsen, who stars in many made for USA movies, usually as the bad girl, while the girlfriend is stunning newcomer, Kristin Hocking. Although uncomfortably effective as the abusive and conniving husband, there are several steamy scenes with Hocking along with a couple of oddly appealing ones with Madsen. It's all extremely unlikely but it's not a bad story as USA movies go, and -- as most the reviews remarked -- the camera loves Bruce Greenwood. Filmed in San Diego.
