Emma Samms gives a somewhat overacted performance in her role as the non-treacherous beauty, a magazine photographer-turned-sleuth investigating her brother's suspicious death. The lead suspect is, of course, her beau-to-be, Jason (Bruce Greenwood), who plays the suave mystery man to a wonderfully laughable degree.
