NORMAN FOOTE'S RECORDINGS


Bruce Greenwood's longtime friendship with award-winning Canadian folksinger Norman Foote has produced several collaborative songs, recordings and albums for children. Foote's published works are listed below:

Norman Foote's latest CD is a rare album from Norman in that it's for adults. Two cuts from the CD - Shaky Town and Domestic Rendez-vous - are available on Norm's website, as is purchasing information.

ONE THOUSAND PENNIES

Norman Foote's latest album for children won a 2002 NAPPA Award, 2002 West Coast Music Award, People's Choice Silver Award and The Children's Music Web Award. Full details can be found on Norm's web site along with sound files from Snuggle Up and Let's Sing a Song.

Although this award winning Norman Foote CD doesn't contain any music by Bruce, it's a delightful compilation of clever songs for children. And lots of fun for adults, too. It won a NAPPA Gold Award, The Parent's Choice Award, West Coast Music Award and The Children's Music Web Award.

Bruce is featured as the voices of Merv the mosquito and Henry the Cockroach on the cut Spider Dan and even pops up as the voice of Simon Smith (and his amazing dancing bear) in Norman Foote's last album, which is currently available through Norm's company, Shoebox Music. NORMAN FOOTE: IF THE SHOE FITS

Bruce co-wrote two songs in this recording -- It's Been a Big Day and The Man Who Ran Away with the Moon, in which Bruce performs the wolf howl. The Man Who Ran Away With the Moon is Bruce's most commercially successful songwriting credit and is featured as an animated video on The Disney and Family Channels.
