The DVD of Thirteen Days is the first DVD using Infinifilm and is a major effort by New Line to market the movie within its true historic significance. In addition to the finest version of the movie available, it includes two complete re-showings of the film -- one with comments by the director, producers, screenwriter, designers and two historians, and another with primary comments from the original participants such as JFK, O'Donnell, etc. There are two historical documentaries on The Cuban Missile Crisis, biographies of ALL the historical figures featured in the film, one documentary on the making of the film (with three brief comments from Bruce), complete filmographies of the cast and crew, the American trailer, a documentary on the visual effects which recreates the low level flights over Cuba, interviews with the producers, designers, director and screenwriter, scene selections, and best of all for Greenwood fans, 9 deleted scenes, 6 of which feature JFK.
There are also some DVD rom options for the computer, which include playing the movie, reading the screenplay while watching the scene from the film and New Lines' original (and quite sophisticated) website.
