THICK AS THIEVES is a complex heist caper with Bruce Greenwood in the small but attractive part as the hero's best friend. Shot in 1999, this independent film bounced around for over a year before finally debuting on HBO in 2000. There's lots of foul language, a generous supply of violence and not enough Greenwood to be very satisfying for most fans, but this title is available everywhere in both the VHS and DVD formats. There are no extras for BG fans on the DVD, however. The cast filmographies do not include Greenwood and he's shown but neither mentioned nor featured in the theatrical trailer.
