TWIST OF FATE was a 1989 mini-series in which Bruce Greenwood had a dual role. First he plays a Nazi officer at the end of World War II, who manages to escape Germany with a new face to avoid probable prosecution and an hour later he plays his own son, who thinks he's the son of heroic Jewish refugees in Israel. It's a fascinating if unbelievable tale and great fun for any BG fan. Never released as either a videocassette or a DVD in North America, it has been released in the PAL format in both Europe and Australia. Though not easy to purchase, it does pop up here and there as a used video and on eBay. | | |
